Eddie Neighbors, 71 of Aberdeen, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Eddie was born Tuesday May 24, 1949 in Woodbury, KY to the union of the late Charlie and Zula Wooldrigde Neighbors. He was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and retired from Friendley Furniture after 34 1/2 years. Eddie loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed drinking coffee every morning with the crew at Hardee's and he never met a stranger. In his spare time he loved working on tractors. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by 5 great grandchildren; one brother Harold Neighbors and three sisters Ilene Price, Jean Payne and Corinne Neighbors.

Eddie Neighbors is survived his wife Peggy Neighbors; one daughter Susan Neighbors (Gerald Johnson); son Nick Neighbors; one granddaughter Heather Lynette Decker (Jeremy); one grandson Simon Turner; one great granddaughter Anna Marie Decker, "Papaw's little sunshine"; four brothers Allen, Jr., Freddie and William Edward Neighbors; four sisters Charlene Adkins, Wendeline Sanderfer, Maxine Carroll and Amba Neighbors; special friends Larry and Debbie Johnson; several nieces and nephews; several grand dogs and one grand cat and many special friends that have been with us during his illness.

All services are private, with burial in the Aberdeen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
