Larry Wayne Porter, 74 of Bowling Green passed away January 11, 2022 in Bowling Green. He was the son of the late Clarence & Thelma Porter. Larry was born in Bowling Green on April 14, 1947.

Larry was a pharmacist at The Prescription Center in Morgantown, KY. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by 3 cousins; Rusty Porter, Stacha Murphy and Charla Snodgrass and his aunt Carolyn Porter.

Bob Whittinghill, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2022. The Kyrock, KY native was a son of the late Willard Whittinghill and Janie Elzo Chambers Whittinghill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Burke Whittinghill, the love of his life; daughter, Charity Whittinghill; two brothers, Carl Whittinghill and Gary Whittinghill; and sister, Vernita Weinstein.

Letty Jean Embry Felty, 79, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Oct.

Jeffery Scott "Jeff" Wilson, age 52 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Jeff was born February 28, 1969 in Gainesville, GA to Olivia Funderburk Black. He was of the Baptist faith and was a fun loving, never met a stranger person. Jeff loved his family and friends.

Beatrice Long Stinson Meador, 92, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former farmer, employee of Kirsch Company, Dollar General and Foster's Nursing Home.  She was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church and a daughter of the late William Henry Long and Eula Viola Driver Long.  She was preceded in death by her first husband of 33 years, Chester Lewis Stinson, of Scottsville and her second husband of 33 years, Ralph C. Meador, of Morgantown. 

Nellie Opaline Burden, age 85 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at her residence. Nellie was born on Saturday, October 31, 1936 in Horse Branch, KY to the late Walter and Sadie Allison Dehart Peay. She was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Carlie (Pops) Johnson, Jr., 72, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021.  Mr. Johnson was born October 20, 1949 in Mattoon, Illinois, son of the late Carlie, Sr and Enly Lyndsey Johnson.  He retired from Americo after 25 years and he currently worked for Bartow County Sanitation Department.  His hobbies included playing Lotto, cars, painting and spending time with family and friends.  He is preceded in death by a son, David Johnson; parents, Carlie, Sr. and Enly Johnson; sisters, Irene Henne, Imogene French, Bertha Horsley, Thelma Neighbors.

Sue Helton Arnold, 69, of Russellville, Ky. passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in Benton, Ky. on Aug. 15, 1952 to the late Issac E. Helton, Jr. and Dorothy Kate Reynolds Helton.  She worked at Franklin Precision for sixteen years and enjoyed puzzles and swimming.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Justine Daugherty Coots, 76, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born in Ohio Co., Ky. on September 21, 1945 to the late Roscoe and Voda Embry Daugherty. She was a hairdresser for 45 years in Louisville and loved to garden. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herman Ray Coots; siblings Yvonne Coots, Juanita Coots and Dwight Daugherty.

Justine is survived by her daughter Alisa Wells (Sebra) of Morgantown and granddaughter Madison Staton (Ruari) of Morgantown.

Jerry Wayne Forsyth, Sr., age 78 of Morgantown, KY formerly of Aragon, GA went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2021 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Jerry was born March 12, 1943 in Aragon, GA to the late Guy Forsyth and Marie Boswell Forsyth Smith. Jerry served in the United States military from January 24, 1966 to March 24, 1969, he is a Vietnam Veteran who was proud to have served his country. He retired from General Motors after 30 years. In his retirement he enjoyed playing golf, loved watching the sports channel, Nascar, watching western movies and Elvis.
