Letty Jean Embry Felty, 79, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Oct. 30, 1942 to the late Recil and Ruby Burden Embry.  She worked in the laundry at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  Jean was a very active member at Merryville Baptist Church in Louisville, after moving back to Morgantown she joined Woodbury Baptist Church.  She loved to do crafts and was on a bowling league in Louisville.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Roy Felty and Recil Felty Sr.; brothers Adril and David Embry.

Jean is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ross Felty; children Patricia Stewart and Tim Felty; grandchildren Shirley Stewart Jr., William Ross Stewart (Sandy), Tonya Embry, Recil Dale Felty Jr. (Cassandra), James Felty (Janice), Brittney Garcia, Nikki Felty and  Bruce Felty; multiple great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Fields officiating.  Burial will be held in the Aberdeen Cemetery.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022 from 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
