Good morning, Community! As promised, I have worked on some goals for the District 1 Constable Position.

Georgetown College is pleased to announce and congratulate the following student from Morgantown who made Dean’s List for fall 2021: Ernest Lee. 

To qualify, a student must have completed the semester with at least 12 credit hours and a minimum 3.7 GPA. A total of 319 students made the Dean's List for fall 2021.  

Cool Springs Church held their annual "March Gladness" fundraiser on Saturday, March 5.  They raised over $14,000 for the Butler County Boys and Girls Club.  

Congratiulations to the 2022 winners at March Gladness:

Belmont Christian Academy's boy's basketball team competed in the Kentucky Christian School Athletic Association (KCSAA) state tournament in the last weekend of February.

The annual meeting of the Butler County Stockman’s Association will be Thursday March 24th at 6:00 p.m.

The weather is starting to improve and with it comes a great opportunity to get youth away from their electronic devices and encourage them to go outside to enjoy nature. According to Harvard Medical School research, getting outdoors has many benefits including increased vitamin D levels, increased physical activity, improved mood, improved concentration and quicker healing.
