The Country Look

There is nothing better than an early  morning country drive to get the blood flowing. Dog Creek Rd. on the north side of Butler County sure has some beautiful scenery. This barn was definitely a keeper!! They just don't make barns like they used to and I guess that's why I'm so fascinated with the ones that are left.

It's good to be back with my Beech Tree family! And remember, we serve a powerful God and he blesses us everyday, even if we don't realize it sometimes. Always take time out of your day to stop and smell the roses along life's journey.

It's in the Love, Not the Blood: Father's Day

It’s that time of year when we take the time to tell our Dads how much we appreciate them by giving them the standard tie, goofy card or in my husband’s case, a day to watch a whole baseball game preferably the Mets or the Yankees, uninterrupted.  My mother will tell you I was very much a “Daddy’s Girl”.  I always went to my dad first no matter what.  Need money?  Ask Daddy.  Need the car fixed?  Ask Daddy.  Need to explain why I was failing high school Algebra?  Tape a letter to the toilet...wait, that’s another story…
