Morgantown Elementary hosted it's spelling bee this week and also recognized several student leaders.

Let me introduce Candice (10/05)! Candice is an adorable, delightful and friendly girl who likes to cheerlead, be active, be outside and play in the snow. She laughs a lot and seems to enjoy talking to people. Candice is a little shy or reserved at first but warms up quickly. Once she feels comfortable with you, she will talk about anything you want. She will quickly win over your heart and you will want to spend time with her. She really wants a family to call her own. She wants to have an older sibling and to have sisters-brothers are ok but she would like to have at least one sister.

$6.00 gets dinner (variety of choices) @ MES Caferteria on Saturday, January 28, at 5 p.m.

Please meet Austin! (04/02) Austin is a sweet boy who is sure to warm your heart! Austin has a wide variety of interests. He is a very talented musician. He plays the tuba and baritone and loves music in general. He likes working on cars and also playing outside. He loves sports, especially basketball. He is open to doing new things. He just enjoys being active and having a good time! He really likes playing with animals, especially dogs. Austin has experienced some difficult times in his life, but he remains optimistic about his future.

Join us for 8 days of historical and agricultural highlights that helped shape American history! We will be going to Washington DC (Capital, Smithsonian, and Monuments), Monticello, Colonial Williamsburg, Mount Vernon and Gettysburg from April 1-8, 2017.

First Baptist will host a Wedding Shower for Chris Ashwood and Kelsey Stratton on February, 5^th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at FBC Fellowship Hall.  They are registered at Target, Amazon, and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
