Diana Ray receives the Special Mission Recognition Award

Sunday, March 5 the Woodbury United Methodist Church witnessed Diana Ray receiving the Special Mission Recognition Award presented by United Methodist Women’s President Elaine Daugherty and Past President Phyllis Tate. Among the congregation were her proud sons Heath and Emmanuel and their families. Diana has been a long time member of the Butler County United Methodist Women’s group and a faithful worker for the Lord.

Weathers & Ellis Wedding Shower

There will be a Wedding Shower held for Easton Weathers and Leigh Ellis at Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, March 19 @ 2:00 in the church's Ministry Center. The couple is registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Walmart. All friends and family are invited.

4-H News: Kentucky Forest Leadership Program

Are you interested in the environment and want to know more about forests, trees, insects, water and wildlife? Then you will want to attend the Kentucky Forest Leadership Program. Students that participate in this hands-on week-long program will get the opportunity to explore the many aspects of our forests as well as learn about college degrees and career options.

Conservation Writing and Jim Claypool Art Contest Recognizes North Butler Students

Several North Butler Elementary students were recently recognized by the Conservation Writing and Jim Claypool Art Contest.  Blake Bratcher is the school, district, and Area 2 Overall winner.  Other winners include:
