The Kitchen in Morgantown held a fundraiser this Saturday, September 6th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., hosted by Belmont Church in the gymnasium and parking lot.

Miley Franzell and Jett Johnson were crownws 2025 Football Homecoming Queen and King on Friday night.

Often it has been my experience to hear criticism of me in the background as I listened to nay sayers too much. On one Sunday, I heard two senior ladies having a conversation in front of me.  One senior lady looked at the other senior lady, in my presence just like I was not even there she said, “He has a dog. He has a real dog, and it is in the house!”

As we are preparing for the start of the 2025-2026 school year, I want to extend a warm welcome back to our students, parents, and staff.

The spirit of our blue-collar community, the dedication of our educators, and the resilience of our students are truly what make us "Butler Strong", and a recent report on our academic performance proves just that.

Amazon, a company that values community involvement, offers a variety of programs for its employees. Christie Tomes, owner of Northside Kennels, an Amazon Hub Partner, exemplified this value by nominating North Butler Elementary for the Together, We Give Back-to-School program.

Thanks to Christie, NBES received 60 backpacks loaded with school supplies.
