Amazon Together, We Give Back-to-School

Amazon, a company that values community involvement, offers a variety of programs for its employees. Christie Tomes, owner of Northside Kennels, an Amazon Hub Partner, exemplified this value by nominating North Butler Elementary for the Together, We Give Back-to-School program.

Thanks to Christie, NBES received 60 backpacks loaded with school supplies.

"North Butler holds a special place in my heart as it's where my boys, nieces, and nephews received their education. Now, my grandchildren have the opportunity to be part of this fantastic school. The teachers and staff are exceptional and truly care for the kids. We have a deep love for NBES," said Tomes.

Amazon will provide supplies to prepare up to 6,000 elementary school students for the upcoming school year.

Ben Wilson, the principal of NBES, expressed his gratitude for the donation and Christie's nomination. 'We are excited about the donation and very thankful for Christie's nomination,' he said, echoing the school's appreciation for the support from Amazon and its partners.
