Morgantown City Council held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, April 13. All council members were present.

The Grand Jury returned the following indictments on April 17. and set arraignments for May 19.

Charges: Possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, and drug paraphernalia-buy/possess

At April’s School Board meeting, held Tuesday, April 18th, Superintendent Tuck shared much information in his monthly report. 

An enrollment period for LIHEAP Spring Subsidy Cooling Component will run from April 17 through June 2, 2023. The program is designed to help offset the cost of a household's electric cost.

Butler County Fiscal Court met on Monday, April 10,  at the courthouse. All magistrates - Stevie Givens, Kevin Phelps, Allen Smith, David Whittinghill, and Dillon Bryant - were in attendance.
