FRANKFORT, Ky. -  The Kentucky Department of Tourism, the official agency responsible for promoting the Commonwealth as a travel destination, has launched the first state-wide cooperative program aimed at improving the quality and visibility of all Kentucky destinations within Google’s search and travel planning products.

Question 1: Broadly speaking, what are the primary reasons you are seeking the office you are running?

Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. Commander-in-Chief Vincent "B.J." Lawrence visited local VFW Post 5837 on Wednesday, August 15th. Lawrence, who was elected to the national post on July 25th, made Kentucky his first official visit. 
"It is an honor for him to choose our post for an official visit," said Kentucky Commander Robert "Doc" Daugherty, of Morgantown.

The Butler County Grand Jury returned indictments against ten individuals on  August 14, 2018. Charges include drugs, sexual abuse, and theft. All arraignments are set for September 11, 2018, at 10:00 am.

The Butler County Board of Education met on Tuesday, August 14, at 6:30 PM at the Butler County Education Complex. Members present included Amy Hood, Delbert Johnson, Debbie Hammers, and Aimee Sanders. 

This year Ben Annis was elected President of State Agency Children School Administrator Association (SACSAA) at the annual Kentucky Alternative Education Summit in Lexington, Kentucky on July 31, 2018. This professional association allows Ben to serve across the state as a representative for his peers and students.
