This year Ben Annis was elected President of State Agency Children School Administrator Association (SACSAA) at the annual Kentucky Alternative Education Summit in Lexington, Kentucky on July 31, 2018. This professional association allows Ben to serve across the state as a representative for his peers and students. The State Agency Children School Administrator Association (SACSAA) is a statewide collaboration between school administrators from each state agency program.  SACSAA membership meets twice per year to vote for officials and awards, network and share resources, and obtain the latest news on initiatives affecting their students.
 
Kentucky Educational Collaborative for State Agency Children (KECSAC)is a statewide collaborative that works with state agencies, school districts and local programs to ensure that state agency children receive a quality education comparable to all Kentucky students.

“It is an honor to serve as the SACSAA President, stated Mr. Annis, “it will truly give me a chance to represent the Green River School Team and students, along with my coworkers across the state.”
