No specific locations were identified. At this time the threat, which apparently originated from a gaming chat room, is considered not credible and unsubstantiated.

On August 1, Larry Cardwell of Gettie West Road, reported that his zero-turn mower and an air compressor had been stolen. Upon investigation, Butler County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Reneer and KSP Detective Josh Amos were able to locate both items in Caneyville. Warrants were obtained for Jarod Phelps (DOB 2/18/89) and Kayla Darity (5/9/93).

On Sunday, August 19th, at approximately 3:45 am a 2019 Polaris side by side was stolen from the home of Mike and Kathy Porter in Rochester. The Polaris was captured on a video camera in Rochester being followed by a black car.
