Morgantown Bank & Trust Co. announces the retirement of Mr. R. Forest Taylor.  Mr. Taylor was appointed to the Bank’s Board of Directors in 1974 where he has served for 45 years. In April of 2004 Mr. Taylor was appointed Chairman of the Board and maintained this position till retirement. Mr. Taylor married Zora Evans in 1949. Both were lifelong residents of the Banock community of Butler County where they continue to reside today.  After their marriage Mr.

Morgantown celebrates official Trail Town certification

The city of Morgantown has officially achieved status as a Kentucky Trail Town.

The Trail Town Task Force was presented with an official certification on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the certification ceremony held at the Butler County Arts Guild.

Officials Signs Proclamation Recognizing United Way of Southern Kentucky
