Third quarter checks have been issued for the Morgantown Bank & Trust Spirit Card Program and several local organizations have benefited financially.   According to bank officials, numbers continued to be strong and total donations equalled $8,386.65, bringing the 2019 program total to $24,503.41. The bank anticipates another $30,000-plus per year.

 Since the Spirit Card Program started in early 2013, donations have totaled over $163,020.87.  

 These spirit card donations are made in partnership with our customers based on their use of their favorite school or program debit card.  This is 100 percent funded by the bank with the intention of enhancing the spirit of giving and to assist our youth throughout our community.

The bank, in addition, still continues to inject a significant amount of resources in traditional support to  local groups with lots of volunteer hours, sponsorships, signs, fundraisers, and special projects such as signage, video equipment and facility enhancements.

All checks have been delivered to the schools.
