Members of the Bears Baseball team had the opportunity to play on a minor league baseball field last week when they took on the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots at Hot Rods Stadium in Bowling Green. The Patriots defeated the Bears 9-1 after scoring 7 in the 6th.

The KHSAA 2012 softball regular season came to an end last week with the Butler County High School Bears winning three of its last four games and finishing with a 21-15 record, marking five consecutive years with 20-win seasons.

Dillen is the son of Connie and Billy White and grandson of Dewey Shepherd.

The Butler County High School Baseball Team honored their three graduating seniors at a recent home game.  The seniors Dillen White, Cole Tynes and Steven White were presented gifts oof appreciation and recognized along with their parents.

The Butler County High School Band sold tickets to the Bowling Green Hot Rods game  on May 15th. The band received a percentage of the ticket sales. The best part of the night was hearing our very talented and professional band play The National Anthem for the opening of the game.
