The Butler County Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution proudly announces the return of the annual Festival of Trees. In the past, the Festival of Trees has been held in a local venue where participants displayed their tree for public viewing.

The Butler County Piecemakers recently honored 23 Veterans with Quilts of Valor. The ladies pieced the quilts and Sue Abbott did the quilting. The quilt presentation is usually done during the Countywide Veterans program, however with Covid-19 the quilts have been presented to the individuals.

Butler County is home to one of two Medal of Honor recipents in Kentucky, Don Jenkins.
