The school district and local VFW Ladies Auxiliary host an annual My Hero contest for all Butler County students.  Students may write or design a picture about a Veteran or about honoring Veterans.  These pics are the winners from each school. There is also an annual Buddy Poppy contest for 5th graders to write to the Mayor about a Veteran or way they want our community to honor Veterans.
