Dr. Wan started the gift giving in the 70’s but it became a yearly tradition with Head Start beginning in 1976 with one small gift for each child. According to Wan’s longtime companion Cindy Black each child received four gifts this year and a visit with Santa. Black has been with Dr.

Richland Baptist Church Youth Group traveled to Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, IN this past weekend. There were devotionals, food, and 8 hours of skiing, boarding and tubing. For many, this was their first attempt at these activities and we are very thankful for the fun, safe trip.

Butler County High Schools NJROTC used their day off from school, January 16, to go to the Edge Ice Center in Owensboro, Ky. The unit arrived at 1300 that afternoon and enjoyed three continuous hours of ice skating. This was the first time many of them had ever ice skated.
