The Butler County Public Library held their Story Hour Graduation recently. Story Hour participants entering head start, preschool, or kindergarten were recognized during the event and received a free book.

Higher Ground performs

Sunday morning August 5th, Monticello celebrated its annual homecoming.  Bro. Randy Burns gave a short welcome before introducing bluegrass-gospel group Higher Ground.  This marked the fifth consecutive year of the group performing at our homecoming. The church is 207 years old.
