NBES: Ready For The Start of School

North Butler Elementary is ready for the start of school.  They hosted an open house to get kindergarten students ready to start the year. Students received free stuff, refreshments and explored their room. Bus procedures were reviewed.

Back to School: Immunizations and Physicals

In order to enroll in any Butler County School, all students must have a valid Kentucky Immunization Certificate.  The certificate must be updated upon expiration and kept current at all times.  Parents are notified by the school when their child’s certificate expires.  Parents can have the certificate updated by taking their child to the local health department to receive the needed immunizations.  Please contact the local health department in advance for an appointment (526-3221).  For immunizations, local health department hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There are very few changes to bus routes from last school year.  Bus numbers from last year will also match the routes from last year.

Welcome Back: Butler County Schools Start August 9th

I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome all of our students back for an exciting school year.  Our maintenance staff and custodians at each of the schools have been working diligently to make sure each of our facilities are clean and ready for every child to come through the doors that first day.  We are still in the process of replacing the existing tile at Morgantown Elementary with new bright white tile.  The entrance area for Butler County High School has also received some renovation this summer.  We know that where we learn and work makes a difference.  We know that our operation
