Letter to Editor: The Second Amendment of the US Constitution

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
 
 As much as the Second Amendment is discussed it is often not truly understood. The comma at the end of "free State" establishes a stand-alone statement of fact as a comma joins two independent clauses.

Even though this has been a unique year, the seasons still provide some predictability. Our summer season is coming to a close, and autumn officially begins September 22nd. Many say that fall is their favorite season, and most of us enjoy some fall activities.

Thinking along those lines, I questioned friends and family, “Fall is just a couple of weeks away. What fall activities are you looking forward to?” Their responses are listed below:

-Fire pit star gazing.
