Brian Charles Bobbitt, age 54 of Caneyville, KY passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at his residence. Brian was born on Thursday, June 13, 1968 in Rantoul, IL to the union of the late Charles A. and Diane Ackerman Bobbitt. He enjoyed working on cars, watching Ghost Hunters on TV and spending time with family. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one nephew Bradlee Bobbitt. 

Brian Charles Bobbitt is survived by his wife Rita Lang of Caneyville, KY; one son Zachery Bobbitt (Jo) of Caneyville, KY; six step children Jordan Hornickel (Tim) of Chenoa, IL, Jacqueline Aguinaga (Albert) of Arizona, Courtney Decker (Jake) of Pontiac, IL, Timothy Lang of Caneyville, KY, Ashley Lang of Bowling Green, KY and Alyssa Lang of Beaver Dam, KY; 11 grandchildren; one sister Denise Green (Kevin) of Chenoa, IL; one brother Kevin Bobbitt (Nikki Smith) of Chenoa, IL; four nephews and three niece. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
