Philip Stephen Deweese, age 72 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at his residence. Philip was born on Saturday, April 22, 1950 in Hartford, KY  to the union of the late Dewey and Claudia Elms Deweese. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church. Philip was a painter, who enjoyed arrow head hunting, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Levon Ward.

Philip Stephen Deweese is survived by his three sons Jonathan Deweese of Bowling Green, KY, Chris Deweese of Morgantown, KY and Stephen Deweese of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren Evan William Philip Landgrebe and Olivia Deweese of Morgantown, KY; two brothers Allen Deweese of Morgantown, KY and Dallas Deweese of Louisville, KY; one sister Linda Oder of Cadiz, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, April 17, 2023 at 2:00pm with Bro. Frankie Skipworth officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
