Opal E. Cannon Cherry, 89 of Bowling Green, KY passed away Thursday August 26, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Opal was born Friday June 24, 1932 in Butler County, KY to the late William S. "Bill" Brown and Nora Beliles Russ and wife of the late Harold Cannon and Otha Cherry. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Bowling Green, KY, she retired from Community Action and a homemaker.

Phillip Anson Lindsey, 45, of Edmonson Co., Ky. passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Bowling Green, Ky.   He was born in Bowling Green, Ky. on Feb. 4, 1976.  He was preceded in death by his mother Pamela Brooks Mills and brother Andrew Lindsey.   

He is survived by his children Jewelia Lindsey (Joseph), Phillip Lindsey Jr., Christopher Lindsey (Robin), Destiny Lindsey, Haley Lindsey, Piper Lindsey and Hunter Lindsey; grandchildren Abel and Samuel Williams, Tyler and Ayden Lindsey; father Randy Lindsey (Regina); sister Jo Ellen Franks (Tom) and wife Martha Nell Lindsey.

James "Jamie" Aaron Embry

James "Jamie" Aaron Embry, 46 of Lewisburg, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.   He was born in Butler Co., Ky.  on Sept. 4, 1974 to the late Donald Embry and Magdaline Goodman Webster.  Jamie loved racing, playing video games on his phone and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Sharon Taylor and brother Beeker Embry.

Betty Jo Rogers Chapman, 67, of Morgantown, formerly of Ohio County, passed away due to Covid on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born on September 18, 1953 in Owensboro, Ky. to the late Billy Joe and Wilda Mae Sheffield Rogers. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and sister Susan McCluthin.

He was born on Friday, March 30, 1973 in Louisville, KY to the late Charles L. and Paula Stites Amos who survives. Philip was a sales manager at Harbor Freight Tools in Franklin, Kentucky.

She was a member of Cleaton Missionary Baptist Church, a homemaker and loved to cook.

Wally Johnson, age 84, of Sebring, Florida, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at his home.  He was born October 21, 1936 in Morgantown, Kentucky to Nellie Tuck Romans.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan Gies Johnson; his children Kimberly Massengill, Chris (Lisa) Johnson, Keith “Cheet” (Karla) Johnson, Connie (Patrick) Riley, Karla Jones, and Clay Johnson; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  He is predeceased in death by one grandchild, Maggie.

Mary Jane McKinney, 77 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at her residence. She was born on Monday, October 4, 1943 in Hoopeston, Illinois to the late Harrison and Carrie Burden LeGrand. Mary was a retired custodian of Morgantown Elementary School, she enjoyed going to yard sales, fishing and working with her flowers. Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her little dog Little Man.

Twana Gail Cummings Hudnall, 60, of Russellville, KY passed away on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021.  She was born in Warren Co., KY on July 6, 1961 to the late Travis Cummings and Gertie Graham Henry.  She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents and son Bobby Wyche.

Twana is survived by her husband Kerry Hudnall of Russellville; great nephew (more like a son) Jaxon Ray Miller of Russellville; sister Christy McDaniel (Paul) of Indianapolis, IN; brothers Travis Cummings (Kendra Crouch) of Bowling Green and Donnie Cummings (Martha) of Auburn; several nieces and nephews.
