AG's Office Reminds Kentuckians to Report Suspected Election Law Violations

FRANKFORT -- The Office of the Attorney General encourages Kentuckians to report suspected election law violations during the 2023 election cycle. Reports may be submitted to the Attorney General’s Election Fraud Hotline by calling (800) 328-VOTE.

Legislators learn about virtual academies during committee meeting

FRANKFORT—Legislators on the Interim Joint Committee on Education learned about virtual academies during Tuesday’s meeting at the Capitol Annex.

Representatives from the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) and the Kentucky Virtual Academy of the Cloverport Independent School District were on hand to explain how the academy operates and answer questions from legislators.

Pro-Life Legislators Address Misrepresentation of Kentucky's Pro-Life Laws

Commonwealth Policy Center held a press conference with several legislators at the Kentucky Capitol to address the confusion and misrepresentation of Kentucky's pro-life laws. Pro-abortion advocates have been arguing that these laws disregard and hurt women. "This couldn't be further from the truth," said CPC Executive Director Richard Nelson. "Many of the laws enacted in the last six years empower women. Laws like the Ultrasound Bill fully inform women about their pregnancy.

Green River Chapter NSDAR set for a busy November

The Green River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution asks, “do you have a patriotic family tree?”  On November 4, from 12pm-3pm, at the Butler County Public Library, NSDAR members will host a Genealogy Research and Application Workshop. Attendees can bring the information they have available and receive assistance in research for a DAR, SAR or C.A.R. application.
