A large crowd turned out on Thursday night to watch the BCHS Bears host a home Track and Field meet for the first time in over a decade!

Butler County defeated Whitesville Trinity on Thursday, 5-3. Trinity scored first in the second inning and two runs in the top of the third.

The Butler County Bears fell 5-3 to Hancock County Hornets on Friday. The Bears scored three runs on a single in the second inning.


Expect more eager gobblers this season

Butler County fell in a 3-2 loss to Ohio County Eagles on Thursday. The Eagles took the lead on a single by Grayden Barnard in the first inning.
Ohio County pitchers struck out four, while Butler County sat down two.

Butler County picked up their second softball win for the week with a 5-3 victory over Franklin-Simpson Lady Cats on Thursday. The Bears trailed 2-1 in the top of the fifth inning when Carley Jones doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

LOUISVILLE — Butler County senior Tobin Maxfield shot a 295 to finish runner-up in the Kentucky NASP State Tournament on Saturday, March 18.
Maxfield recorded 26 10s during the State Tournament.
