Butler County High School recently honored their senior volleyball and soccer athletes.

MORGANTOWN — Butler County scored first and never trailed on the way to beating visiting McLean County 27-12 in a Class 2A, District 2 game on Friday, Sept. 23.
The Bears are 5-0 for the first time since the 2011 high school football season.
Recently the Butler County Middle School honored the softball and football eighth-grade players.

BARREN RIVER LAKE — The Butler County High School bass fishing team opened the 2022-23 season in a tournament on Barren River Lake on Saturday, Sept. 10, excelling in the event.

MORGANTOWN — Butler County senior defensive back/running back Brody Hunt leads Class 2A in interceptions.
Through the Bears' first four games in the 2022 high school football season, Hunt has recorded a state-leading five interceptions.
