The BCHS Bears are 4-0 overall; and enjoy the Bye Week-No game in week #5, Friday, September 16. In High School, regular season football, each school plays a ten-game schedule.

MORGANTOWN — Continuing to win, Butler County beat visiting Grayson County 35-13 on Friday, Sept. 9.
After notching the win, Butler County moved to 4-0.
Grayson County dropped to 1-3 after suffering the loss.

Week #4 the Bears host Class 5A Grayson Co. for Homecoming Night 2022. The GCHS Cougars lead by 4th year head coach Bryan Jones went (4-7) in 2021; and enters at (1-2)overall, with losses to Barren Co. & McLean Co.; and the lone win over Edmonson Co. in week #1.

HARNED — Continuing to win, visiting Butler County blanked Breckinridge County 46-0 on Friday, Sept. 2.
The Bears and Fighting Tigers met in a non-district high school football game.
