A fire has destroyed a camper this morning in the 500 block of Dunbar Coal Rd. Donovan Burson and his father were cooking BLTs for lunch in a skillet when flames broke out.
"I turned around and there was fire coming out of the microwave vent," said Burson.

Last Saturday, a playground accident sent one child to the hospital via helicopter. Dispatch received a call at 5:52 pm reporting that a small child had fallen from a slide and had suffered a severe injury to his leg.

On Saturday, June 2, The Green River Museum and Butler County Park in Woodbury, Kentucky, held its yearly opening event. The historic site is continuously being restored to its peak in the early 1920’s.
