A telephone scam has struck at least one household in the community, and a Morgantown woman took to Bowling Green television to warn about what's called the Grandparents Scam.

The Morgantown City Pool has reopened after some upgrades. New drains were installed by the city maintance workers and a new concrete pad was poured. The pool was built in 1978, and some of the drains were replaced in 1997.
