City Hall in Woodbury was destroyed by fire in the early hours of Friday morning. A line of heavy thunderstorms was passing through the area at the time of the fire, and it is believed the lightning caused the blaze.

Morgantown City Council met on Thursday, March 13th at city hall. Mayor Billy Phelps swore in Michael Gary as the newest member of the council. Upon Gary becoming a council member, a seat on the utility board would need to be filled - one previously occupied by Gary.
