On June 19th around 1:48 am Butler County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Reneer observed a 1996 green Grand Prix traveling westbound on KY 70 Rochester Road at a high rate of speed. Reneer paces the vehicle at speeds of 100mph in a 55mph zone through the stretch by Cedar Ridge Raceway.

A business education program will be coming to the Butler County Area Technology Center for the 2018-19 school year. According to Principal Ray Hammer, the program will pursue a Financial Services Pathway. Teaching certification is required the employee will be a member of the Kentucky Teachers
