With veterans in mind, the recent Flag Day recognition, and Independence Day right around the corner, Ms. Exie Miller recently took the opportunity to give Butler County Schools' Superintendent Scott Howard an American Flag that has been in her family for years.  Ms. Miller made the presentation last week to Supt. Howard at the Board of Education office in Morgantown.  

"Anytime we can honor our country and all of our veterans we need to do everything we can," said Howard.  "It really hit me in the heart when I saw this sweet lady coming up the steps of the Board of Education to give me a beautiful American Flag that was in her family for years." 
Howard now has it flying outside the Board of Education office.
