A business education program will be coming to the Butler County Area Technology Center for the 2018-19 school year.  According to Principal Ray Hammer, the program will pursue a Financial Services Pathway.  Teaching certification is required the employee will be a member of the Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System.  Starting salary will be a minimum of $41,750.

K-T Instructor Rank III (Business and Office Technology) 

The Kentucky Department of Education, Office of Career and Technical Education, Butler County Area Technology Center in Morgantown, Kentucky has an opening for a Business and Office Technology Instructor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program. 

Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;

OR

Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;

Special Requirements:

Must have a teaching certificate or statement of eligibility (a degree in Business Administration is not acceptable).

In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Kentucky Teachers’ Retirement System.

2017-2018 Salary dependent upon qualifications, training, and experience.  Minimum salary for Rank III instructor is $41,750.00
