Lookin’ thru’em bifocals I see:  The newest airlines today have computers operating all the control surfaces on the airplane; wing flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevator, trim tabs on both ailerons, and on the elevator—all depending on silicone connectors enclosed and fused together in what we call a chip.  Oh, I almost forgot the auto-pilot too.  All on what are sometimes called “Fly By Wire.”

 Christmas is less than a week away, and I’m beginning to relax! I may not have everything marked off my to-do list, but it is close enough. We’re ready for Christmas at the Craig house!

A few years ago while Christmas shopping, I noticed something a bit frustrating.  I’d gotten several gifts that required boxes so I naturally would ask the salesperson for a box.  I kept getting the same response of “I’m sorry, we don’t have any boxes”.  “Okay, thanks”, I’d say in a rather puzzling manner and walk away.  “How weird”, I’d say to myself.  Thing is, it’s the norm these days.

Recently, I came across online Christmas trivia quizzes – some questions easy, some not. Several sites even have free printable trivia quizzes. Based on the comments made on one website, these trivia questions have been used in a variety of ways: as adult party games, to entertain children during family gatherings, and as a teaching tool leading up to Christmas.
