Brownsville Road accident sends four to hospital

The 18-year-old driver and three juvenile passengers were all transported to the hospital on Monday, June 26, following a single-car crash on Brownsville Road/KY 70 East in north Butler County.  Two of the four were taken to the Medical Center in Bowling Green, while two others were air-lifted by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville.  Three of the four have since been released while

Despite some dark skies and rainy weather, this year’s Tackle the Green Fishing Tournament was a huge success with anglers reeling in 22 tagged catfish. In fact, two fishermen caught more that one tagged fish.
