The 2012 Butler County High School football team held its annual awards banqut on January 13 at the BCHS Commons Area. Head Coach Ryan Emmick recognized several players for their accomplishments during the 2012 season.

A former Butler County High School baseball standout will be honored on February 5th before the Bears basketball game with Hart County. Keith Butler, a relief pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, will have his number retired at that game.

Butler County Boy’s middle school basketball will come to a close this week, but hopefully not before the Bears bring home a championship trophy on Thursday night. The Bears have had a successful season and ended with a 14 – 5 record giving the Bears a number one seed going into the tournament.
