Our title comes from I Corinthians 6:9-11. This text warns against Christians engaging in sin, and reminds us that Christians have been forgiven much. This section also stands as a reminder that it is Christ who has made forgiveness possible.

I’ve seen many signs of spring the last few week and the sign it’s time to mow. My yard is covered in this pretty little dandelion’s. I remember as a child picking these and making a wish before I blew them apart.

As a former teacher, April Fools’ Day is not my favorite day of the year. Apparently, since I was taken in by many April Fools’ Day stories in the past, I am gullible. And I’m sure many teachers are happy April Fools’ Day falls on a Saturday this year. It can be a tough day.

“Scroochy” Yates lived on Locke Lane-two houses from mine my Great Granddaddy’s home place. I guess that is why they named it Locke Lane; about a half mile from New Cypress, in Muhlenberg County- the only place I was born in 1933.

Back in the fall, I bought a serger at an auction. For those of you who don’t know, a serger is a small sewing machine that finishes the raw edges of material in order to keep them from unraveling.
