Have you ever had a bad day? Sometimes when a couple of things go wrong, we decide that we’re having a bad day. We may even beat ourselves up for whatever went wrong. Although having a bad day is common, people cope with those times differently.

Over the course of two days, my granddaughter, Sabria, and I made two of the biggest messes that have ever been made in this house. Hers involved Easter egg dye. Mine involved liquid makeup. Mine was by far the worst. Let me explain.

We studied last week that people’s wrong attitudes result in wrong actions. We saw that God’s people contend with the temptation to have these wrong attitudes. In fact, the Bible shows us some folks who had wrong attitudes, and as a result, sinned.

It was an honor to serve you and our district in Frankfort this session. Called the “most productive and historic session” in history, I, along with my colleagues in the Senate, were proud to stand with Kentuckians as we passed historic legislation alongside our new House Majority.
