Shortly following 9AM, a two-vehicle accident occured in front of Aberdeen grocery at the intersection of highway 231 and highway 79. No injuries were reported. Butler County Sheriffs deputy Heath west responded along with Butler County Rescue Squad and Butler County EMS.

The Morgantown Mission opened their doors on Monday morning in their new building. “People started coming in at 8:00 am this morning,” said Garry McKinney, director of the Mission. The Mission is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00am-6:00pm, Wednesday and Saturday 8:00-3:00pm.

When the 2013 Session of the Kentucky General Assembly gaveled into business in January, there was talk of a spirit of bipartisanship and working together for the betterment of the Commonwealth. That spirit seems dashed as we near the end of this session.
