The Kentucky Art Council held a 3 day event March 1-3 at the Lexington Convention Center. Booth 402 was filled with good reads published by Heart to Heart Publishing Inc, of Morgantown . Friday was wholesale day with next two days retail and open to the general public.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Customs and Border Protection officers recently seized more than half a pound of heroin at the Louisville UPS express consignment facility. Hidden at the bottom of a large duffle bag, the cache of heroin was detected by CBP officers and intercepted on February 28.

Butler County native Kathy Goff has been named Interim Superintendent of Warren County Public Schools.  Goff, currently assistant superintendent, was selected in a special called board of education meeting Wednesday evening.
