The Butler County Fiscal Court held its monthly meeting for August on Monday night, August 13th, 2013. All Court members were present, along with a fairly large crowd of visitors and interested parties.

Members of the BCAG hear about the Heart of Scottsville's restoration project and their plans to bring new businesses to the downtown district.

On Friday, August 9th a group representing the Butler County Arts Guild traveled to Allen County to tour Scottsville and get some fresh ideas on how to bring the creative arts and historic restoration to the forefront of Butler County and Morgantown culture.

The Bowling Green City Commission, on Tuesday, approved a municipal order authorizing the sale of 67 acres off KY 70 West (Rochester Road) in Butler County to Owl's Head Alloys, an aluminum recycling company located in Bowling Green.
