On Tuesday, September 11th, the 74th Annual Butler County Farm Bureau Membership meeting was held at the Eva J. Hawes Agriculture Expo and Community Center. Butler County Farm Bureau Insurance and Air Evac were present with promotional material for members and door prizes.

Butler County School Board voted 4-0 to hire an interim superintendent and had a lengthy discussion about upcoming band trips during their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11. Board members Karen Evans, Delbert Johnson, Deborah Hammers and Amy Hood-Hooten were in attendance.

The Reedyville RD Club hosted the September meeting of the Butler County Fiscal Court on Monday night. All members were present. A potluck meal was served by the ladies from the Reedyville RD before the meeting. After everyone had dined the business portion of the meeting commenced.
