“We are excited about this school year, we have 87 new students, and great things are happening in Butler County Schools,” said Howard. Although test scores are embargoed until 12:01 tonight, we are pleased,” added Howard.

According to Howard the school system has over 300 employees, operates on a $14 million budget, and is one of thirty-six schools to be accredited by Advance Education.

“It is important to get students involved and that is what we are doing, 300 students attend the Area Tech School, 110 students participate in the NJROTC program, and 340 students (high school and middle school) are in the band program.

“I am very proud of our students, teachers, and staff and proud to be a small part of their success,” said Howard.
