Anyone that has pets knows how quickly they become part of your family. My husband and I adopted two kittens about two and a half years ago.  They instantly became our " furbabies" and we fell in love.

The Boys and Girls Club of Morgantown facilitated a puppet show and Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday November 20. The puppet show was performed by members of South Central Kentucky's "Kids on the Block".

 The 12th Annual Quality, KY Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2014 @ 1:00 p.m. Line up starts at 12:00 noon @ the old Andrews Store on Highway 106 near the Butler/Logan Co. line. This year's theme is "Baby's First Christmas".

Warren RECC hosted its annual holiday open house at the Morgantown office on Tuesday, November 18th. The event was scheduled for 3-6 pm.  However, people were lined up as early as 2:30 p.m.

Falling snow in Morgantown

In a historic early cold snap Butler County started getting hammered with sleet the size of BB’s at about 1a.m. Monday morning. By seven in the morning the wintry mix had turned into snow and along the Natcher at times there were near white-out conditions.

Four Butler County High School students have been recommended by faculty/staff members for October student of the month honors based on attendance, promptness to class, participation in class, grades or attitude.  These students are Lillien Hudson, James Hunter Phelps, Nolan Johnson and Kelsey Hu
