                                    Fall is a busy time for apple growers. Ripening times vary from year to year depending on the weather. If apples have coddling moth damage, they will drop up to two weeks before the crop is ripe.

Before events began our Butler County NJROTC lined up for their group photo. In the rear you can see the chiefs and officers. Among these from left to right are Samantha Beatty, Natalie Suoy, Ricki Brown, Hunter Gates, Hannah Logan, Tyler Vincent, and Seth Vincent.

Through the course of the day the Butler County NJROTC participated in 8 events with 2 teams for each. Among these events were, Tug Of War, Volleyball, Basketball Shootout, 50 Yard Dash, 1 Mile Relay, Teamwork Challenge, and Dodgeball. Our NJROTC also competed against 7 other schools.

The Boyce Flener Marching Invitational was held on Saturday, September 16th at the Butler County High School.  Seven bands competed, and Murray State University Band performed before awards.  The Butler County Middle School Band played the National Anthem.
