The Sewing Class of Morgantown First Baptist Church and the Clara Lee Circle sent 50 pillowcase dresses and 30 pairs of shorts and shirts for children to the Houston, Texas WMU to use for children in that area.

Kent Moore talked to the Mission Groups at Morgantown First Baptist Church during their mission start-up.  Moore spoke about his trip to China which he took with members of the Owensboro First Baptist Church.  The group spent two weeks with the Chinese people of southeast China.

Louisville musical group Linkin’ Bridge came out of nowhere to national fame when it finished second on America’s Got Talent in 2016 — and many thought the group should have won before the fan voting placed it second.

The annual Rochester Fall Festival was held on Saturday and was a huge success.  The park saw a steady flow of people that enjoyed games, cars, trucks, live music, crafts, a dance contest, beauty pageants, hayrides plenty of food, and a lot more.

The Butler County Drug Free Task Force met on September 20th at the Butler County Educational Complex.  Director Rhonda Vaughn annouced that members of the youth coalition would be filming a commercial to air on WBKO in November.  Alex Gilpin is cordinating the commercial.
