BCHS Responds to Hurricane Harvey Victims

Kierra Neighbors, a senior at Butler County High School had it in her heart to want to serve the victims of Hurricane Harvey. With Mr. Gruber's support, Butler County held a Hurricane Harvey relief program from September 5-15th to have canned foods, conditioner, deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. donated to send to Houston, TX.

Through school and community support, over 700 items were donated to send to the victims affected by Hurricane Harvey.

"We are so proud of Kierra for her willingness to serve others and for her desire to put something like this together," said Aaron Richmond, BCHS teacher.
