Beech Tree Media has teamed up with the non-profit group Cell Phones for Soldiers to collect and donate used cell phones to the program. The cell phones collected are sold to a recycling company and the money received is used to purchase phone cards.

The weather could not have been better as the Crossmen Quartet sang to a delighted crowd on the courthouse square Saturday evening. Darren Doyle filled in for Darren Lawrence as the event, a part of the summer concert series, was held under the shade trees on the lawn.
